Primary vs secondary

Primary research is first-hand research obtained by interviews, questionnaires, covert/overt observation etc…

secondary research has already been gathered and you collect it from a certain place e.g. a book, the internet or perhaps (depending on the situation and information required) the government – statistics and dates will have been collected by them.

This blog post was second-hand research taken from the internet and translated into my own words.
